Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Support daily living activities to promote dignity and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with nurses and care team
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered attitude
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new graduates from an approved CNA program are encouraged to apply

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Familiarity with taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices
• Good charting and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and prioritize tasks effectively
