Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate, respectful bedside care that promotes dignity
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning to prevent injury
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate effectively with team members
• Follow infection control protocols to keep patients and coworkers safe
• Help create a calm, comfortable environment that enhances recovery

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• Active authorization to work in Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Prior long-term care or acute care experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing and caregiving principles
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
• Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Teamwork and clear communication with nursing staff and leadership
• Time management and organization during busy shifts
