Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any concerning changes to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Document care accurately and promptly to support continuity and quality of care
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support resident well-being

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required by facility)
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any facility onboarding requirements
• Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
• Dependable, professional, and able to work night shifts
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads who are confident and eager to learn are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills including ADLs, hygiene, and feeding assistance
• Comfortable with vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with nursing staff
• Awareness of infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Time management and documentation skills to keep charting accurate and timely
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to de-escalate or comfort residents in distress
