Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Follow infection control policies and facility procedures to keep patients safe
• Support a positive patient experience through respectful communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Comfortable working night shift hours
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform patient care tasks safely and with dignity
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and ADL support
• Familiarity with patient safety and infection prevention practices
• Comfortable with documentation and charting in electronic or paper systems
• Ability to work calmly in fast-paced and emotionally charged situations
• Good interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
