Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility needs
• Perform timely and accurate documentation of care and vital signs
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
• Comfortable working evening shifts and adapting to per diem scheduling

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding assistance
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of basic infection prevention and safety protocols
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
