Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to promote dignity and comfort
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe transfers and positioning to reduce risk of injury
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and the care team
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Ability to work 8-hour shifts as scheduled
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Willingness to follow facility policies and infection control practices

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills including taking vital signs and assisting with ADLs
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection control and standard precautions
Clear communication and teamwork within a care setting
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
