Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes promptly
Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment following infection control policies
Document care provided in patient records with clarity and attention to detail
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Georgia preferred)
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts reliably
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or ability to obtain
Pass required background checks, drug screen, and immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and comfort measures
Taking and documenting vital signs and patient observations
Assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Basic electronic charting and documentation skills
Team communication, time management, and the ability to prioritize
