Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts with on-call duties (1x/week weeknight call; 1 weekend/month Fri evening to Mon AM), 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing and monitoring of hemodynamics during cath lab procedures
Assist with conscious and moderate sedation under RN supervision
Manage airway and administer cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
Operate balloon pumps and ensure sterile environment
Rotate call for emergent inpatient cases and weekend coverage
Collaborate with a team of 2-3 techs and RNs in a high-volume STEMI receiving facility

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
Fluoroscopy license (Fluoro) required
BLS certification from AHA
Minimum 1 year recent cath lab experience (RCIS or CCT not accepted)
Proficiency in conscious sedation, airway management, and cardiac drips
Experience with balloon pumps and STEMI protocols
Comfortable with coronary, vascular, peripheral, IR, and neuro interventions

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and procedural processes
Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with 10-22 cases daily
Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
Proficient in sterile technique and radiation safety
