Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and monitoring duties during cath lab procedures including coronary, vascular, peripheral, IR, and neuro interventions
• Manage conscious and moderate sedation, airway management, and cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
• Operate balloon pumps and assist with hemodynamic monitoring
• Work collaboratively with a team of two techs and an RN in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases, covering weeknights and one weekend per month
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain a sterile field during procedures

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required
• Fluoro permit essential
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Must have current cath lab experience – no first-time travelers accepted
• Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, cardiac drips, and balloon pumps
• Experience at a STEMI receiving facility preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro interventions
• Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and procedural processes
• Knowledge of cardiac drips and vasopressors
• Skilled in airway management and emergency response
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
