Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with facility policies
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care promptly and clearly in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Promote a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute practical insights

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or other certifications a plus
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Comfortable working in acute care environments and collaborating with a care team
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Infection control best practices and safety-focused mindset
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Team-oriented communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
