Shift Type: Rotating evenings, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Example Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday ON (Sunday and Thursday OFF). Example Week 2 (sample shown): Sunday and Wednesday ON; Monday and Tuesday OFF (part of a 5-week rotating schedule).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during evening shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs and clinical changes
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary team members on care plans
• Perform wound care and basic nursing procedures as appropriate
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to educate and support
• Ensure proper handoff and documentation during shift changes to maintain continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Clinical experience as an LPN preferred; recent healthcare experience a plus
• Ability to work rotating evening shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Strong communication, time management and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN certificate/diploma)

• Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Infection control and wound care fundamentals
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Collaborative care and clear shift-to-shift communication
