Shift Type: Night, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour overnight shift); specific days vary (night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray exams with attention to patient safety and comfort
- Operate CT scanners and execute CT post-processing for clear, diagnostic images
- Rapidly and accurately image stroke patients to support urgent clinical decision-making
- Document exams and upload images into PACS and Meditech in a timely, precise manner
- Collaborate with ED staff and radiologists to prioritize emergent cases
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot basic issues, escalating when needed
- Provide professional, empathic patient interactions that enhance the patient experience
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required (ARRT CT preferred or CT credentials as applicable)
- Current CPR certification required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of CT/radiology experience preferred (job lists 2 years experience)
- Proven experience with CT post-processing and stroke CT protocols
- Comfortable working night/overnight shifts in an emergency/ED setting
- Ability to use PACS and documentation systems (Meditech, GE Centricity PACS)
Education
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current CPR certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in CT imaging and X-ray techniques
- Strong CT post-processing capabilities and image optimization
- Familiarity with PACS workflows and Meditech documentation
- Experience with GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT systems and AMX equipment
- Knowledge of stroke imaging protocols and emergent imaging priorities
- Good communication, triage judgment, and teamwork in fast-paced ED environments
