Shift Type: 4 days/week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Day shift). Supervisor-approved schedule (4x10 schedule), includes on-call rotation with a 30-minute response expectation to home campus; minimum 10 weeknight shifts and minimum 2 weekends per assignment (includes holiday coverage).

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform intra-procedural circulating duties — manage supplies, assist with device setup, and maintain sterile field
- Administer medications and assist with sedation per protocol to support safe, effective procedures
- Support interventional and cardiac catheterization cases, including STEMI response and IABP stabilization when needed
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging and cath lab equipment (Siemens systems) and maintain radiation safety practices
- Document procedures thoroughly using EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting systems
- Float between three campuses as needed and respond promptly to on-call activations within the required response time
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and supervisors to deliver patient-focused, high-quality care
- Adhere to unit policies (including fingernail/artificial nail policy) and dress code (surgical greens)
Qualifications
- RCIS certification required
- ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) required
- Minimum experience indicated: 2 years (posting also references preference/requirement of more than 3 years hospital Cardiac Cath/IR experience — please review and apply if you meet the stronger requirement)
- Valid driver’s license required at submittal (radius rule: within 50 miles; must not be full-time/part-time/PRN with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities)
- Comfortable with floating between campuses and meeting on-call response expectations
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, weekend and holiday coverage as needed
Education
- RCIS certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant clinical training or associate degree preferred
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting
- Experience with Siemens imaging/equipment
- Strong radiation safety practices and use of radiation badge
- Skilled in venous access, intra-procedural circulating, and medication administration
- Experience with interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization workflows, including STEMI and IABP support
- On-call team experience and ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergent situations
- Effective communication and teamwork across multi-campus settings
