Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to patients, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following facility policy
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status, escalating changes to nursing leadership
• Document care comprehensively and promptly in the electronic medical record
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility while promoting patient independence
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (appropriate state licensure required; New Hampshire licensure expected for this location)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (diploma or certificate)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous clinical experience as an LPN preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient assessment and clinical observation
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Basic wound care and assistance with ADLs
• Accurate charting in electronic medical records
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in clinical settings
• Professional communication with patients, families, and care teams
