Shift Type: Flexible four 10-hour day shifts per week (approx. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), flexible four-day work week model, Day shift; plus up to 6 outreach clinic days per month in Lamar and Trinidad (travel required, ~2-3 hour drives).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in outpatient and affiliated clinic settings
- Deliver dedicated rural outreach services to clinics in Lamar and Trinidad up to six days per month
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary cancer care team including APPs, nurse navigators and social workers
- Use EPIC EMR system-wide to document care and coordinate treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered cancer care programs
- Share in limited call responsibilities and support coordinated, high-quality outcomes
- Engage in clinical growth and academic opportunities within an academically anchored health system
Qualifications
- MD or DO and completion of Hematology/Oncology fellowship
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Active and unrestricted Colorado medical license or ability to obtain one
- Experience in outpatient hematology/oncology care and comfort using EPIC EMR
- Willingness to travel for rural outreach (approximately 2-3 hour drives) and provide up to 6 clinic days/month
- Commitment to equitable, patient-centered care and collaboration across disciplines
- This is a permanent role; no locum or locum-to-perm arrangements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; UCHealth is unable to support visa sponsorship for this position
Education
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of Hematology/Oncology fellowship
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
- Strong clinical expertise in both hematology and oncology
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with outpatient clinic workflows and related procedures
- Comfort delivering care in rural outreach settings and adapting to variable clinic environments
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and patient-centered program development
