Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for adults in a forensic/psychiatric program
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and crisis intervention when needed
- Collaborate with custody staff and multidisciplinary clinical teams to coordinate care
- Document clinical findings, progress notes and treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner
- Participate in training, supervision and quality improvement activities to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) preferred
- Licensed Psychologist in California or eligible for California licensure
- Experience in mental health, psychiatric or forensic/correctional settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and psychotherapy skills
- Ability to pass required background and facility clearance processes
Education
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) or equivalent clinical doctorate
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in psychological assessment and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, risk assessment and crisis management
- Excellent clinical documentation and charting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse adult populations
