Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long term care setting
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the care team and providers
Support resident activities of daily living and promote independence and dignity
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and families to build trust

Qualifications

Valid LPN or RN license appropriate for Maryland (must be active and in good standing)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
Comfortable working in a long term care/skilled nursing environment
Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Previous long term care experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and documentation skills
Familiarity with care planning and nursing assessments
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate patient interaction and strong interpersonal skills
Basic EMR or electronic charting experience preferred
