Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents with compassion and clinical skill
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly
- Document care, observations, and care plans clearly and timely
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
- Support residents’ daily living needs and promote dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in Delaware (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Able to pass required background checks and immunization verifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and charting skills
- Clinical assessment and prioritization of resident needs
- Clear communication with residents, families, and care teams
- Time management and ability to work independently on shift
- Familiarity with long-term care regulations and best practices
