Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
- Help create a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection-control practices
- Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state-certified) — required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to work the night shift hours listed (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
- Comfortable with patient lifting/transfer techniques and physical aspects of the role
- Willingness to undergo background check and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient-care skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic nursing procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
- Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
