Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patients, report changes in condition, and escalate concerns
- Document care promptly and thoroughly in the facility EHR
- Collaborate with nursing team and interdisciplinary staff to plan care
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and standing for long periods
- Background checks and health screenings completed as required by the facility
- Previous long-term care or rehab experience preferred but willing to consider strong recent grads
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Wound care and basic nursing interventions
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
