Location: Skowhegan, ME

Start Date: 06-09-2026

End Date: 09-15-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, including 30-minute meal break; days vary, may include weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vitals and report changes to healthcare team
Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop care plans
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients
Document patient care accurately and timely

Qualifications

Active RN license in Maine (or compact license accepted)
Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
BLS certification required (AHA)
Must be willing to float to other units as needed
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
