Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days with on-call and weekend rotation as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment for a busy OR department
Assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures with precision and efficiency
Take on-call rotations and respond to emergency surgeries promptly
Ensure all surgical equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

Qualifications

2+ years of OR experience in a high-volume setting
Proficiency in orthopedics required
EPIC experience a must
BLS certification required
Ability to work independently and take call

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Expertise in orthopedic surgical procedures
Proficient in EPIC EHR system
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
