Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care for patients in a 26-bed Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and EKGs using centralized telemetry
Manage patients with neuro conditions, CVAs, pulmonary issues, and general telemetry needs
Collaborate with hospitalists, RT, and pharmacy teams for comprehensive patient care
Oversee patient assignments with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio and PCT support
Participate in a pass/fail Sim Lab on orientation day to ensure readiness

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (within the past 6 months)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to interpret EKGs and pass the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (max 2 attempts)
Valid RN license in Arizona or compact state

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac and neuro telemetry skills
Proficiency in interpreting EKGs and recognizing dysrhythmias
Experience with Airvo/High Flow ventilation
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
