Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, flexible days as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings to detect changes in patient condition
Administer medications accurately and manage IV therapies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain a safe, clean, and healing environment for every patient

Qualifications

Current and active California RN license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Previous med-surg or telemetry nursing experience preferred but not essential
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles and telemetry monitoring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in time management and prioritization
Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
