Roles & Responsibilities

Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision and compassion
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring safety and comfort
Operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Certification by ARRT(N) or NMTCB required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Proven experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in PET/CT and nuclear medicine protocols
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
