Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures using state-of-the-art Siemens equipment
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnoses
Maintain radiation safety protocols and handle radioactive materials responsibly
Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout imaging procedures

Qualifications

BLS certification is required
PET/CT experience is required
DOT Certification preferred at start, required at extension (within 90 days)
Valid driver's license required for submittal and distance verification
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and PET/CT operation
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
