Location: Silverdale, WA

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Includes weekend and holiday rotations.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform ABG draws for accurate patient assessment
Set up and manage bipap and ventilator therapy
Administer nebulizer treatments to improve respiratory function
Provide conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Assist with intubation procedures
Deliver respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients
Cover inpatient areas including level 2 nursery with bubble CPAP

Qualifications

Active Washington Respiratory Therapist license
RRT or CRT credential from the NBRC
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
At least 2 years of recent NICU experience with strong level 2 nursery skills
Competent in ventilator management, including PB 980, Philips V60, and respironics Lumis
Ability to care for neonates 32 weeks and up on bubble CPAP

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ABG drawing and analysis
Skilled in bipap and ventilator setup and troubleshooting
Experienced with nebulizer treatments and respiratory medications
Knowledgeable in conscious sedation and cardioversion protocols
Ability to assist with intubation
Familiar with electronic medical records and respiratory equipment
