End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 18:00-07:00, every other weekend and holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients with CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and other medical conditions
Monitor telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient status
Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators to ensure optimal outcomes
Float to all med/surg units as needed to support the team
Work with patient care technicians (PCTs) to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
Great communication and time management skills
Experience with telemetry monitoring and reading strips
Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Med/surg nursing for CHF, diabetes, PNA, CKD
Strong communication and teamwork
Time management and adaptability
