Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics across the facility
Cover all areas including NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, cardiac, and ER
Operate and manage ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, MR1) and high-flow devices (Airvo, V-60 Respironics)
Work independently with clinical judgment and collaborate closely with physicians
Respond to level II trauma cases and manage critical respiratory needs

Qualifications

Current ND state license as a Respiratory Therapist
RRT or CRT certification required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Must have NICU experience
Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions
Friendly and collaborative attitude with multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care
Skilled in ventilator management and high-flow oxygen therapy
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
