Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day/night shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and pediatric patients with conditions such as CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD, and post-surgical recovery
Monitor telemetry and interpret strips with support from CCU staff
Administer and titrate intravenous drips (e.g., Heparin, Bumex) as needed
Collaborate with CNAs and charge nurses to ensure optimal patient ratios
Float to other units as a helping hand when needed
Participate in patient education and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active RN license in Oregon or willingness to obtain OR 90-Day Emergency License
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred
Ability to care for general medical-surgical and pediatric patients

Knowledge & Skills

General medical-surgical nursing skills
Pediatric nursing experience
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
