Location: Chandler, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes
Float between Tele, MedSurg, and other units as needed, including potential travel between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses
Provide skilled nursing care to post-cath lab, post-surgical, neuro, and general telemetry patients
Administer medications and monitor for side effects
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Participate in simulated lab on day one of orientation

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
NIHSS certification for neuro unit
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience required
Experience with cardiac drip titration
Comfortable floating between units and campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring
Knowledge of central line and IV therapy
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
