Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit, including cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and continuous EEG monitoring
Titrate drips such as Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and patient care techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU experience
Ability to titrate drips and manage cardiac telemetry
Valid driver's license for compliance with radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in cardiac care and telemetry monitoring
