Sonographer - General, OBGYN, Vascular

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound exams
Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures including drains and biopsies
Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging studies
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostics
Maintain equipment and uphold infection control standards

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in General or OBGYN required
RVT or RDCS certification preferred
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 1+ years of experience in general and OBGYN ultrasound
Experience with procedures (drains, biopsies) is a must
Willingness to take call and work weekends as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Phillips ultrasound equipment
Experience with EPIC and Fuji PACS
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable to a fast-paced clinical environment
