Location: Chandler, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to neuro telemetry patients, including post-surgical and CVA cases
Monitor and interpret EKGs, identifying dysrhythmias and communicating findings
Collaborate with charge nurse, clinical supervisor, and multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain sterile field during procedures and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and recovery expectations
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in neuro telemetry or similar acute care setting
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Experience with central telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
COVID vaccine required or approved declination

EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition

Collaboration and communication in fast-paced environment
