Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (day: 6:30 AM-7:00 PM, night: 6:30 PM-7:00 AM), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, DM, and continuous EEG monitoring
Titrate and monitor drips including Cardizem, betablockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
Coordinate care with nursing assistants in a 1:10 or 2:20 ratio
Adhere to hospital policies including the artificial nail policy

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
At least 1 year of PCU experience
Valid driver's license for radius compliance
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in titrating intravenous drips
Knowledge of cardiac, neurological, and renal conditions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
