Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days or nights, with rotating weekends and holidays based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry population
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrating Heparin and Cardizem drips as ordered
Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform wound care and other nursing interventions
Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact state
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
Experience with heparin and Cardizem titration preferred
Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Expertise in medication administration and IV therapy
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with electronic health records and charting systems
