Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days and nights, with 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU and IMC patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Manage and titrate cardiac drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amio, and heparin
Administer insulin and ativan infusions as needed
Float within Zone 1 facilities including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and others within a 60-mile radius
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
Adapt to varying patient acuities and unit assignments daily

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC nursing experience
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin
Prior neuro and Epic experience preferred
Flexibility to float across multiple facilities within the zone

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Proficient in telemetry and managing step-down patients
Excellent critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
Effective communication and teamwork across diverse units
