Roles & Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility and function
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living
Document patient progress and communicate with the care team
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
Ensure a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions

Qualifications

Current Utah Physical Therapy Assistant license required
Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
At least 1 year of experience as a PTA
BLS certification preferred
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Time management and organizational skills
