Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, day (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) or night (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to progressive care patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips such as Cardizem and beta-blockers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment plans
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Ability to pass an open-book exam during orientation with 90% or higher
Driver's license required for verification of 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
