Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Draw ABGs and perform ventilator setup and management
Administer nebulizer treatments and manage Bipap devices
Provide conscious sedation and standby for cardioversion
Assist with intubations and care for patients in the NICU
Collaborate with lead therapists and nursing staff to ensure optimal respiratory care
Cover inpatient adult and occasional pediatric patients in the ED

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
RRT or CRT credential required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Proven NICU experience with bubble CPAP and 32+ week neonates
Strong ventilator skills and ability to draw ABGs

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ventilator setup and troubleshooting (PB 980, Philips V60, Lumis)
Competence in Bipap and high-flow oxygen therapy
Ability to perform conscious sedation and assist with intubations
Confidence in handling emergency situations with calm professionalism
