Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Manage inventory, stock shelves, and ensure proper storage of medications
Assist pharmacists with medication orders, compounding, and labeling
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Verify prescription information and process insurance claims efficiently

Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician license in California
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and prescription processing
Understanding of medication names, dosages, and interactions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
