Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to a diverse adult-geriatric population on MS-Tele units
• Float across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Renal, Rehab, and more within Zone 3
• Titrate heparin drips and manage titratable medications as ordered
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to varying unit needs and patient acuities, from general medical to stepdown-level care
• Document accurately and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state (must obtain CO license if not compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius zone (Zone 3 around Denver)
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
• Neuro experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
• Proficiency in managing cardiac drips, especially heparin
• Experience caring for patients with cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and post-surgical conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to think critically and prioritize in a dynamic float pool setting
