Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Frisco, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays, with on-call duties

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including vascular, abdominal, breast, and small parts studies
Operate state-of-the-art GE and Philips ultrasound equipment
Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver accurate results
Maintain proficiency in PACS and Epic EMR systems for imaging and documentation
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
ARDMS certification in RDMS, RDCS, or RVT required (RVT preferred)
Strong vascular ultrasound experience essential
Minimum 1-2 years of ultrasound experience preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in sonography and ultrasound techniques
In-depth knowledge of anatomy and pathology
Proficiency with PACS and EMR systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
