Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 6:00 AM - 2:15 PM (variable per diem shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and record vital signs, report changes to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, turn, and transfer patients using proper body mechanics
Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
