Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify occupational needs
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
Implement therapeutic activities to enhance fine motor, sensory, and cognitive abilities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercises

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Occupational Therapist license in Maryland (or compact eligible)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and modalities
Excellent patient assessment and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
