Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to oncology and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret EKGs, and respond to changes
Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines, Foley catheters, and IV therapy
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, and SWAT RNs
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care
Maintain sterile field during procedures and demonstrate competency in SIMs lab skills

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
Minimum 2 years of oncology or telemetry experience
Ability to pass DYS exam and SIMs lab skills assessment
Comfort with floating to other MedSurg and Tele units

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR and telemetry monitoring systems
Strong understanding of chemotherapy administration and safety
Excellent sterile technique and IV insertion skills
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage Bipap/Cpap
Effective communication and patient education skills
