Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist
Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating pharmaceutical supplies
Process insurance claims and handle patient billing inquiries
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment

Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) required
Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology and medication names
Proficient in using pharmacy management systems and computer applications
Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations
Great communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues
