Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography and radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretation
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols and ALARA standards
• Maintain FDA guidelines and accreditation records for the mammography section
• Educate patients on procedures and provide compassionate care throughout their visit
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging outcomes
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service when needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M) required
• Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Prefer two years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, or MRI technologist
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in mammography and radiography procedures
• Proficiency in radiation safety and quality assurance
• Familiarity with CT, MRI, DEXA, PACS, and EHR systems
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
