End Date: 12-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a mixed PCU/MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
Titrate intravenous drips such as insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case management, and social work
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed
Maintain hourly rounding and focus on patient experience

Qualifications

Active RN license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
EPIC experience preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and monitoring
PCU and MedSurg nursing skills
Charge nurse experience (1+ year preferred)
Hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000) - training available
Ventilator management - training available
Alaris IV pump experience
