Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, interpret data, and respond to changes
• Assist with medical procedures, including epidurals, inductions, and emergency interventions
• Educate new parents on childbirth, lactation, and newborn care
• Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families during a transformative experience
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team of nurses, physicians, and specialists to ensure best outcomes
• Document care accurately in PointClick EMR system

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state) - must be currently active
• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required (must have before start)
• Comfort working in a rural facility with limited public transportation
• Ability to pass a Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care (LDRP)
• Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Familiarity with PointClick EMR is a plus
